Concept
The design of this series is inspired by Longquan celadon, a unique shade of green that stands out on its own. I've taken its shape and color as the starting points for our design. Through craftsmanship, we aim to reinterpret the culture of bead embroidery using modern language, blending traditional techniques with contemporary design creativity.
Process
My work focuses on three-dimensional bead embroidery, moving beyond the simplicity of flat patterns to showcase the transformation of textured designs in three-dimensional form. This approach breaks the spatial limitations of traditional bead embroidery and incorporates modern fashion aesthetics into clothing design. I strive to find a fresh, modern way to present traditional techniques.
